The 2017-2018 season was not any different if not spectacular for the vast majority of 3S swim coaches, both at collegiate and club levels.  Following hands down dominance in Atlantic 10 conference (all three 3S-powered programs in the conference-owned the podium), FIU (Coach Randy Horner, C-USA Coach of Year) won its fourth straight C-USA Conference Championship setting a new conference record with 1031 points. FIU claimed 14 first-place finishes and registered 45 all-conference honors during the 2018 C-USA.

Ohio State University women’s team led by Head Coach Bill Dorenkott, another 3S user, finished third at the Big Ten Conference championship smashing numerous school records and winning medals with NCAA qualifying times. This is the Buckeyes highest finish since 2012.

Coach Neal Studd (Florida State University), representing 3S-Powered coaches at  ACC, led Seminoles to two champions crowns, three relay medals, and four school records, bringing his program to new a height in a very tough competition with top-level swimming powerhouses.

3S guidance has proven helpful at a club level again this year. The “Brittish Bullet” Darcie Smith (nine years old) kept her position as a fastest UK swimmer in her age group in four events.  Yet another incredible success story came from Wyoming (Coach Randy Walker, Sweetwater Aquatics, 3S user since 2014) and  Connecticut (Coach Tom Steuer, 3S user since 2007).
